Calculating strength and stiffness
Our objective is to develop smart and lightweight products. Through the efficient application of materials at the right location, a construction can be made lighter and/or at lower cost. The strength and stiffness are maintained or even improved. For validation purposes we use FEM analyses (finite element method). This enables us to determine whether the design meets the set standards and requirements. Our stress engineers can also provide you with a clear picture of the impact due to acceleration, deceleration or rotation, for instance, and the resulting deformations, forces and support point reactions.
